This FAQ should help you in case of unanswered questions.
Both registration and entrance to the event (in the Conference Center on 2nd floor) are free (no admission fee).
Entrance to the museum (Verkehrshaus) is not free, but registered visitors get a discount voucher (admission fee CHF 14 instead of CHF 27).
Yes, there's WiFi offering public internet access. So, bring your Notebooks and Netbooks.
We'll choose a cosy place with good value for money. Each one has to choose from the menu and pay their bill. Main courses start at about CHF 20.
Hotel prices start at about CHF 70 per night/person.

- Basle EuroAirport - Lucerne: ~ 1 1/2 to 2 hours
- Genève Aéroport - Lucerne: ~ 3 to 3 1/2 hours

The event is open to all, even to the public. All visitors are welcomed.
Certainly you can bring and use your computer.
Keep in mind that the 230V power plugs are unique for Switzerland and foreign visitors will need most likely a travel adapter.
BTW: It should be no problem to bring other stuff like hard-/software, posters, leaflets, CD/DVD's etc. Even Switzerland is not in the EU, it is in the Schengen area. Travelling to Switzerland should be the same as if you travel to Germany or France for example.
